Lacking a Creative Title

Yesterday I found myself frustrated and worried that we will not complete the project before we leave in two weeks. I expressed this to The M, and then the team. I decided to spend some extened time in prayer about it, and used Psalm 44 as a guide to my prayers.

Would you please join me in praying for more rapid progress for our project? Would you please ask for God's blessing on our work, for his protection against the forces that would oppose us, for and for his wisdom in our decision making? We intend to do an intense, six-day surge this Monday through Saturday.

A.J. and Jonathan arrived yesterday and are happy to be here. The M cooked us a huge breakfast of pancakes, cantelope, and refried beans, and after eating it we are heading out the door at 6:40 a.m..

Hey PT,

I've been keeping up with your project down in Honduras these past few weeks through my emails with Lisa (ok, living vicariously through her is probably more truthful since my trip was called off) and I must say that I'm really impressed by the amount of work that has had to go into this project. I know that the work you guys are doing down there will have a big impact though, and I'll be keeping you in my prayers. Can't wait to see how things turn out.

Hey PT!
I am so glad to hear that Jonny and AJ made it down safely! Hopefully Jonny will find his lost bag! I am praying faithfully that your project will gain momentum and the new team will work harder than ever! I want to thank you for the invitation to join you all in Honduras, and trust me- I wish more than ever that I was there to help out! Hopefully there will be another opportunity!
God Speed,
Katie

I am praying this scripture over your group and your efforts there in Honduras. Isaiah 40:31
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Dovie (Jason's Mom)

I have passed your blog site on to many people who wanted to hear about Lisa's mission work. So I know that many of them are praying with us for the projects. Several have commented that they enjoyed the blog, especially the humor. Our pastor was especially impressed that Lisa has a great mentor to get her involved in helping Hondurans through the things she is learning in school. You are touching many lives!
